This is what our old apartment used to look like, and all our old stuff. Everything here was lost in the fire on August 28, 2005.

Heather Meadows > 2309-I Spring House Lane - This was our bedroom shortly after we moved in. The beautiful hope chest Grandma gave me is in the background, behind my suitcase and underneath all that bedding. All my Star Wars posters are piled up next to it. That wood lamp on Sean's end table was made by my dad. And if you're wondering, those garbage bags are full of my clothes. This picture was taken January 7, 2003.

Heather Meadows > 2309-I Springhouse Lane - This is how our bedroom looked when we first moved in. To the left is my chest of drawers from childhood, and a beautiful storage box Ben and Manda gave me. Cheryl and Reid gave us the comforter and sheets on Sean's futon. The end table Sean always used was my TV table back in my old room at home. The pink lamp was mine, the white lamp was Sean's, and the blue one was Cheryl's. Eventually I put my old childhood desk in here, moving the chest of drawers across from the bed. Grandma's hope chest moved from that position to the window. This picture was taken January 21, 2003.

Heather Meadows > 2309-I Springhouse Lane - This is Mom and Dad's old entertainment hutch, with my TV/VCR combo, Sailor Moon fansubs, Star Wars on VHS, DVD, and Laserdisc, Star Wars soundtracks, DVD player, souvenirs from Japan, and family photos, and Sean's Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and games. This picture was taken January 14, 2003, before I had the bookshelves assembled.

Heather Meadows > 2309-I Springhouse Lane - This is essentially how our living room looked the whole time we lived there. I did move the two low shelves; I took the encyclopedias off the wider one and put them on the main bookshelves, freeing that shelf up for Sean's user manuals and CDs in the office closet. The other shelf, which was built by my great-grandfather, I placed behind the lounge chair--a shelf my Uncle Tony built for me is there in this picture. I ended up putting Uncle Tony's shelf on top of my desk in the bedroom. This picture was taken January 26, 2003. I had just gotten everything arranged.

Heather Meadows > 2309-I Springhouse Lane - Here's another shot of the living room, this time from Christmastime 2003. We were about to head out the door to visit my family for Christmas. The pink rug on the floor used to be Cheryl's. Note also that this was back when I kept live plants in the apartment. This picture was taken December 21, 2003.
