I found this tour through Travelocity. The focus was taking pictures of historical Boston that were more artistic than the usual point-and-shoot travel photos. There were several tours available, but due to the fact that we waited until the last minute, this was the only one we were able to get. It was a good tour, though, and it was my second choice after the "Footsteps to Freedom", so I'm happy with the experience overall.

Heather Meadows > Old State House. The Declaration of Independence was first proclaimed from here on July 18, 1776. After the revolution, the building was slated to be torn down to make room for new growth. The city of Chicago offered to take the building off of Boston's hands and erect it in Chicago, in time for the World's Fair. Boston suddenly decided they didn't want to demolish the building after all. (How dare you try to take our building, Chicago!)
